Congress is worse than church

One congressman from Georgia voted against a bill to commend the Gators on their national championship.  While I applaud his hatred of the Gators (maybe he should leave a comment at realnationalchampions.com?), what the heck is the US Congress passing bills like this for?  Don't they have anything better to do?  Social Security.  The War in Iraq.  Fixing the pothole on 293.  Come on guys!  These stupid resolutions are about as dumb as the resolutions and motions in some churches I know.
