Looks like 2 episodes of the big race experiment was enough. CBS has merged the racially segregated tribes. I don't really understand. If the point was to segregate for some grand experiement, why only devote two measly episodes to it? Why no explanation? What was the big outcome of this stunt? Why give up so fast? Perhaps because it was a dumb idea in the first place. What did they think they were going to learn? Anyway, I wish most of the reality shows would go away. And I'm glad there are some smart and creative shows like Studio 60 out there.
Keep in mind that they are only on the island for 39 (?) days. Maybe it's 29? They have to do what they do quickly. It's not unusual to have a major game twist happen in the third episode.
Stuidio 60 is a show I was really looking forward to. I liked West Wing a lot and the writing sounded smart and funny. However, I missed the first episode and gave up after the ititial scene squence in the second episode. Maybe I was just really tired that night (I was) but it really failed to hook my interest. So help me out...what do you find so engaging?

i like it for all the reasons that i liked West Wing. some of the same actors, writers and producers give it the same feel.
The writing is very smart, the jokes are layered, the acting is great.
you can watch a whole episode free at nbc's website.
