Some random thoughts tonight.
- We had pizza delivered from Chicago and ate it tonight. Lou Malnati's is some good deep dish pizza.
- We got a few people together tonight and did some brainstorming for some upcoming Sunday's at Oak Leaf. I'm really excited about where we are going.
- I added paypal giving to our church site, but I still haven't found a good option for people to send e-vites.
- Easter at the Movies is going to be great. For the next few weekends, the Easter Bunny will be making various appearances around Cartersville promoting Easter Sunday.
- My two year old is talking quite a bit these days.
- I don't really care about college basketball that much. I want North Carolina to win for some reason. But I think football should start sooner.
- I'm looking forward to watching Shooter. This summer looks to be a good movie season. I'm looking forward to Spiderman and another Harry Potter. But what is up with some of these dumb movie titles. The Last Mimzy? Disturbia? Are these people serious?
- A Starbucks is about to open in Cartersville. I am very excited about this development. I'm not sure the rest of Bartow County will pay $4 for vanilla latte's, but I know I will. I actually prefer a much more girly drink - a grande 2% cinnamon dolce latte with light whip. Chili's looks set to open up soon as well.
- We're getting a new manager at the movies where we meet. I hope he's as cool to us as the previous manager.
- If anybody near here has a real poker table, I would really like to borrow it for something important. If you know someone, let me know.
- I'm going to Macon next week to speak at a Christian school. Some new friends of ours from Macon are leading worship @ Oak Leaf this week. It's a husband and wife that will be leading. I like listening to girl worship leaders when they can flat out sing like Amanda can. You will not be disappointed.
- We're looking for a full time children's pastor / family pastor. If you know anyone, send their name my way.
Saw Shooter today. It was good, as was the excited we had in the movie. I witnessed an old man attempt to use his cane as a weapon at some teenage girls who were playing with their cell phones during the movies. People never cease to amaze me.
