Skittles

This week, we're kicking off a new series called Skittles.  And then today I read about a guy who was charged with stealing $250,000 worth of Skittles.  Now that's a lot of Skittles. 

Only in Cartersville

Bojangles has some great sausage biscuits, but you gotta love their drive through speaker system.  Very niiice.

Charismatic Sex

John joked with me today that some people might thing that our church is a little out there because the picture on the front of the postcard has the womans feet pointing down.  People might think we were a charismatic church or something. :)  I can hear it now: Look at that picture...that's not even natural.

In serious news...a very nice reporter from the local paper interviewed me today and a photographer took about 200 pictures of me in the office surrounded by all the postcards.  She seemed very interested about the series and about the church in general.

Snow Days in the South

You gotta love it when there's a hint of snow in Georgia.  Close the schools.  Stock up on water.  Check the batteries.  All the schools in Bartow County were closed today.  I drove to work and didn't encounter any ice or treacherous conditions.  I seriously think that for all the talk of tough, red neck southerners, we're all a bunch of wimps down here in the south.
